Advantage:
Hy- Sailing Ti4O7 Metal like high conductivity.
Excellent chemical stability against acid and alkali.
Unique electrochemical properties.
It has high mechanical strength and can be easily formed into plate, tube, rod and other electrode shapes.

Titanium Oxide conductive ceramic electrode material (Ti4O7)

The outstanding physical property of Titanium Oxide has:
Good conductivity at room temperature, especially the Ti4O7 phase.
Its single crystal conductivity can reach 1500s / cm, which almost has the conductivity of metal.
The actual Titanium Oxide is composed of polycrystalline phase, and the conductivity varies with the content of Ti4O7 and the particle size of the powder, but it can fully meet the requirements as an electrode material.

The proportion of Titanium Oxide is small, which is conducive to the lightweight of the product and improve the specific energy.

It has strong wear resistance, erosion resistance and stable electrode size.
High mechanical strength, Machinable.

Titanium Oxide has no magnetism, is not easy to agglomerate, and has good dispersion in water.
As a conductive additive, it is convenient for uniform mixing with other battery active substances and uniform distribution of current.
Titanium Oxide has high compatibility with organic polymers and can be mixed with various plastics to overcome the disadvantage of poor toughness of ceramic materials and make flexible electrodes of various shapes.

Titanium Oxide has excellent chemical stability and corrosion resistance.
It is very stable in strong acid and alkali environment, exceeding most commonly used electrode materials in industry, including its parent titanium metal.
It is stable in some strong etching solutions (including fluoride etc.) that can corrode titanium metal. For example, 40% sulfuric acid or oxalic acid can seriously corrode titanium metal, but Titanium Oxide is almost inert.

The room temperature working current of Titanium Oxide ceramic electrode is about 5-20ma
It can be used as both positive and negative electrodes for hydrogen and oxygen evolution reaction, and the overpotential of
hydrogen and oxygen evolution is very high.

As the electrode support material, it can be electroplated, chemically deposited or coated with various metal oxides or noble metal catalysts, and has good chemical binding with these catalysts, almost unchanged catalytic activity and good effect.

Application in lead-acid battery

Conductive ceramic Titanium Oxide (Ti4O7) can enhance the binding force with PbO2, maintain the pore shape and porosity during charge and discharge, and improve the formability and utilization of positive active material. Adding a small amount of Titanium Oxide (Ti4O7) fiber to automobile flat battery can increase the capacity of the battery by about 15-17%.

Application in lithium battery

In lithium batteries, composite cathode materials, especially those containing graphite as conductive additives, can attenuate the battery capacity in the charge discharge cycle. The battery using conductive ceramic Titanium Oxide (Ti4O7) as conductive additive has no such adverse phenomenon.

The conductive porous ceramic electrode also has excellent corrosion resistance, which makes it very likely to be used in the field of fuel cells.
